It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Elena Chávez Dominguez. Elena has been a participant, supporter and volunteer at Casa 0101 for over a decade.

Her spirit and generosity helped to make Casa 0101 what it is today. She contributed stories to Chicanas, Cholas y Chisme, often volunteered at our performance and was ready to support in whatever capacity she could.

Elena, you will be missed dearly.
