Claudia Duran has written, directed, and produced since 2005. She co-founded Chicanas Cholas y Chisme in March 2012 at Casa0101 for Womyn's Herstory Month. Duran wrote, directed, and produced feature Sofia for Now, which screened at national and international film festivals. Elvia Susana Rubalcava
ELVIA SUSANA RUBALCAVA is a writer, director, producer, and content creator. Rubalcava has written, directed, and assistant produced the past six years with Chicanas, Cholas, y Chisme. Her play Fluffy Homegirls toured New Orleans & Northern California, as well as her first commissioned play Our Voz. Her plays Letters to My Dead Lovers (2018), Homegirls from el Otro Lado (2019), and Fluffy Homegirls (2019) were selected for the Teatro Frida Kahlo Theater’s 10-minute Play Festival where she also directed Breaking the Binary (2019). Her poetry has been published in Mujeres de Maiz Flor y Canto Zines, Seeds of Resistance Flor y Canto, and others. Her short story “Palomas” was recently published in Our Stories: A collection of personal narratives a Latina anthology. She co-directed Teatro Moz (2016) and Drunk Girl (2015) at Casa 0101 and is a co-founder of Las Tres a theater collective aimed at developing and promoting writers, directors, and producers.
